A mod that adds an Ancient Reassembler which can be used to combine items to get a higher rarity version.
Buy the Ancient Reassembler item in the Scrap Yard and place it on your ship.
Then use any 2 items of the same type and rarity to combine them to get one item with the next higher rarity.
